Sauve To Run For Sheriff
We have our first candidate for Marinette County Sheriff. After current Sheriff Jim Kanikula announced last week that he would not seek re-election, the department’s Chief Deputy Jerry Sauve is announcing his candidacy for the sheriff’s office. Sauve has been with the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department for over 25-years and says he’s ready to take the lead role. He’s been Chief Deputy for over four years and says that’s given him the experience of overseeing the entire department. Sauve will run on the Republican ticket for Marinette County Sheriff in this fall’s election.
