Bridge To Honor Fallen Soldier
The U.S. 41 bridge over the Peshtigo River will be named to honor a fallen local soldier. Last week Governor Jim Doyle signed a bill that will designate the Highway 41 bridge as the Steven Drees Memorial Bridge. Private Drees was deployed to Afghanistan on his 19th birthday. He died from a fatal injury he sustained during combat while serving in Afghanistan.
