Is One Commissioner Enough?
It wasn’t everything they hoped for, but members of the recall movement are hoping one new commissioner will be enough for Menominee County. Menominee County District Four Commissioner Dick Peterson was recalled by voters in Tuesday’s Election, while District Five Commissioner Gary Eichhorn avoided recall. Kathy Selby started the recall petition against Commissioner Eichhorn. She says with only Peterson being removed, hopefully one will be enough to change the makeup of the Menominee County Board. An election is being planned for May 4th to find Commissioner Peterson’s replacement.
