Ten Years For Heroin Charges
Drug charges lead to prison for a Marinette woman. 35-year old Melissa A. Pier was first arrested in March after a search warrant was executed at her Marinette home and heroin was allegedly discovered. She pleaded guilty to one count of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place stemming from that incident. Pier was also charged following an October traffic stop on Highway 41 in the Town of Grover, when she was allegedly found with Heroin and Pills. She pleaded guilty to three charges stemming from that arrest including Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin. Last week in Marinette County Court, Pier was sentenced to ten-years in a state prison.
