DNA Evidence In Robberies
DNA evidence may be used to link a multiple armed robbery suspect to the crimes.  The Marinette County District Attorney’s Office plans to use DNA obtained from 20-year old Patrick Scotty Erickson if the case were to go to trial.  Erickson is charged in the armed robberies of the Back-A-Gan Bar and the Shell Gas Station in Marinette in July of last year.  DNA evidence on a sweatshirt, a pair of goggles and a bandana may connect Erickson to those robberies.  Erickson has pleaded not guilty to the charges and his next court date is for a status conference scheduled for April 9th.
