It’s a mostly symbolic stroll down 10th Avenue, but it will help warm Menominee County residents struggling to pay their heating bills. Every dollar raised from this Saturday’s Walk for Warmth will benefit the Community Action Agency’s heating assistance efforts in Menominee County. Joan Corsten with the Community Action Agency says it’ll be a lot of fun and for a really good cause.
The Walk for Warmth starts off at the Menominee Senior Center with registration at 9 AM. The walk begins at 10. Information and pledge sheets can be found online at mdscaa.org.
