Intersection To Get Upgrades
Driving through the intersection of 13th Street and 14th Avenue in Menominee should get a little easier starting in about a month. The Menominee City Council has approved signing the contract with the Michigan Department of Transportation for upgrades to the intersection’s traffic signal. The usual red-yellow-green light signal has been blinking red for several months, turning the 14th and 13th intersection into a four-way stop. But the light should return to normal in early April, with improvements to the intersection continuing after that.
