Walk For Warmth
Over 150 participants took a stroll down 10th Avenue in Menominee on Saturday morning for this year’s Walk for Warmth.  From the walk alone the Community Action Agency raised over $4,000.  All of the proceeds will stay in Menominee County to help residents that are struggling to pay their heating bills.  Joan Corsten from the Community Action Agency called this year’s Walk for Warmth a great family event.  Wisconsin Public Service also contributed in the Walk for Warmth by donating 100 compact fluorescent energy-efficient light bulbs that were given out participants in the walk.
