Menominee residents can now get rid of their old TV’s, computers, cell phones and other electronics. Starting this Saturday and continuing on the first Saturday of every month, city residents can bring their unneeded electronics to the recycle bins next to Menominee City Hall for disposal. City Manager Richard Goode says there is an upcoming demand for the service as more people purchase new TV’s and other new technology. No cash will be accepted to use Menominee’s new electronics disposal service. Instead, stickers for the useless items must be purchased in advance at City Hall. Prices range from $25 for larger items, such as TV’s, to free for smaller electronics like a cell phone or computer mouse.
