Bomb Threat At North Central
One student is arrested for making a bomb threat to North Central Junior and Senior High School in Northern Menominee County. The school in Powers had to be evacuated for about two hours on Monday, while a K9 unit searched the school for explosives. The 16-year old female student from Hermansville was apprehended then turned over to the custody of a parent and placed on house arrest. The student has been suspended for ten days and faces an expulsion hearing before the North Central Area Schools Board of Education.
