WI Frozen Road Law Ending
Due to the warmer temperatures, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is announcing the state’s frozen road declaration will end in the zones south of U.S. Highway 8 today.  State-maintained highways were declared in December and January to be so frozen that no damage would be result from the increased load limits.  Additionally, starting on Monday, spring thaw and Class II restrictions will go into effect south of Highway 8.  Maps depicting where and when the frozen road and spring thaw declarations are in effect can be found at the Wisconsin DOT’s website.
