Furlong Wants Investigation
Menominee County Commissioner James Furlong is requesting a formal investigation into the software that has been installed on a county computer. The spyware on the county Administrative Assistant’s computer was apparently put there by former Interim Administrator Mike Erdman. Furlong says he’s concerned about a private citizen’s ability to access a government computer. Menominee County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Hass says they are in a fact-finding mode as they look onto the software matter. Once the facts are gathered, Hass says they will act accordingly.
