U-Turns In Marinette
Think twice and take a good look before making that U-turn while driving in Marinette. The signs have been ordered and once posted, it will be illegal to make U-turns at eight of the city’s intersections. A new Wisconsin law recently made it legal to make the turnarounds at any intersection within the state unless proper signage prohibiting the U-turns is posted. So Marinette identified eight intersections where making the U-turns could be hazardous. Those spots where U-turns will now be illegal include the intersections of Hall Ave and Hattie Street, Hall Ave and Main Street, and the Cleveland and Carney Ave crossings of Highway 41.
