Patrick Mines, the host of "Swap Shop" and the voice of Hits 96 in the afternoon, was born and raised in Peshtigo, WI. Though the Force was strong with him, and he was incredibly handsome and the envy of all around him, he still longed for more.
So he left to travel the world and experience life outside his hometown. In those travels, he worked with an ESPN video crew, starred in a number of television commercials, became a published author and cartoonist, worked as a jazz DJ, directed and performed in over twenty productions for the live stage, created and destroyed Internet empires, interviewed rock stars, and had a small but vital role in the critically acclaimed documentary, "The Godfather of Green Bay."
Even with all those impressive credits behind him, he missed the people and the culture of Northeast Wisconsin and returned to the area, now turning his attention back to radio on his quest to become a true sextuple threat (stage, screen, TV, print, internet, and radio). While a certain shock jock may claim to be the "King of All Media", surely Patrick is in line there somewhere. Perhaps "Duke of All Media", or maybe "Bürgermeister of All Media".
Mmmmm...burgers..... *gurgle*
